Kailu Xiao

Postdoctoral Research Associate

xiaokailu@tamu.edu

Dr. Kailu Xiao will join Prof. Thomas’ group as a postdoctoral researcher in December 2021. She got her Ph.D. degree at the Institute of Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in June 2021. Her Ph.D. thesis involves the multi-scale study of the dynamical behavior of two-dimensional materials, including carbon nanotube film, graphene, and graphdiyne. Her research interests focus on deformation behavior and shock wave propagation of block copolymer under high strain rates.

I-Ming Lin

iming2567@tamu.edu

Dr. I-Ming Lin joined Prof. Thomas’ group as a postdoctoral researcher in April 2023. He got his Ph.D. in the Department of Materials and Optoelectronic Science at National Sun Yat-sen University in June 2021 under the supervision of Prof. Yeo-Wan Chiang. His Ph.D. thesis involves studying the hierarchal nanostructures of copolymer complexes by manipulating non-covalent bonding interactions and corresponding templating synthesis. His research interests include the self-assembly of block copolymers and supramolecules, nanohybrid materials, and inorganic templating synthesis.
